Frequently asked questions

What kind of fragrance oils does Huski make?

Huski composes concentrated fragrance oils designed specifically for cold-air nebulizing diffusion. They're crafted to atomize cleanly into a dry mist and to hold their character in the air, across a urated library of signature scents spanning fresh, floral, woody and warm profiles — a considered selection rather than an overwhelming wall of choices.

How often will I need to reorder, and is there an economical way?

Because oils are a repeat ritual rather than a one-time buy, most home customers settle into reordering every couple of months or a month, depending on use.

Are these the same as essential oils?

Not quite. Essential oils are single-plant extracts, while a fragrance composition layers multiple materials — which may include natural extracts — to build a complete scent with a top, heart and base that unfolds over time. That layering is what gives a fragrance its depth and consistency, and the oils are formulated to safety standards for safe diffusion.

How long does one bottle last?

It depends on your diffuser, your intensity setting, the size of your space and how many hours a
day you run it. As a general guide, regular home use often sees a bottle last from several weeks up to around two months. Because nebulizing uses very little oil per cycle, bottles tend to last longer than first-time users expect.

How do I choose a fragrance that suits my home?

Think about the mood you want a space to hold. Fresh and citrus profiles feel bright and energising for entrances and kitchens; florals feel gracious in living and dressing areas; woody and warm scents bring a calm, enveloping quality to bedrooms and studies. Tell our team how a room is used and the moods you're drawn to, and we'll happily suggest a fragrance to match.

How should I store the oils?

Keep bottles tightly closed, upright, and away from direct sunlight and heat — a cool, shaded cupboard is ideal. Fragrance materials are sensitive to light and temperature, so good storage protects both the scent and its longevity. Keep them out of reach of children and pets.
